Antiparos is a small greek island in the heart of the Cyclades group, separated from Paros by a narrow and shallow channel, with width, less than one nautical mile (1.4 km).  It has an area of 45 square km. with a 57 km. coastline.  The length of the island,  from north to south, is only 12 km., while the maximum width reaches 4.5km.  The tallest peak, Prophet Elias is found in the middle of the island, while the main town is on the north eastern coast.  Antiparos is a volcanic rock and dry climate with high moisture, and morphology favors the development of strong winds.  So like Paros, Antiparos is also known for its excellent wind conditions for windsurfing!
